Threats against the President

Here we are with the newly elected (and unconstitutionally appointed!) President not even a full month in office, and the parade of death threats and controversy surrounding the President seems to be unending.  The controversy and other dirty laundry that has followed the President from Illinoise was only to be expected, but I dont think that anyone could have estimated the way that the new President is getting attention from extreme radicals.  The Jacksonville Daily News recently ran an article about how a former Marine made threats against President Obama, and this is just one weird long event.  For an alleged "White Supremacist" he sure does make a person ask many questions...

You can read the whole article here:

Among other points of interest in this article, the phrases "credible threat" and "white supremacist material" are used.  Like others, I am very interested to learn just what constitutes a "credible threat" and exactly what this "white supremacist material" is that was taken as evidence.
For a Marine to take up a position against the President and actively plot to attack the President is just ludicrous.  Unless this man suffers from delusions of grandeur, I SERIOUSLY doubt that he would have ever had the ability.  I wont doubt that this man had criminal intent and criminal knowledge, but I do seriously doubt if he would have been able to follow through on any type of scheme.  Adding insult to injury, this man did all of his plotting from his barracks room!  Anyone who has ever lived in the close quarters confines of a dorm style room can attest to the fact that there is very little privacy in such living conditions.  This story just smacks with mediocrity on the part of the offender.
Wait, what about his "journal"?  This journal allegedly had explicit plans on how to kill the president and contained an amount of White Nationalist (WN) material.  Like others, I am very interested to see just what passes for WN material.  Truth be told, it could be any one of a million things taken out of context.  I will add however that if such words as nigger, or coon, or tarbaby or any one of a hundred disrespectful monikers were used when speaking about the President, it will be one strike against the offender when the legal proceedings occur.
The article also lets on that the Secret Service is still investigating another Marine at Camp LeJeune and there is no futhur information on that at this time.  Some may wonder if this other person might have been a willing accomplice to this plot.  No information on that at this time, so we will have to wait and see.
Here is the interesting part which can make a person wonder if the offenders plot really was based on radical WN viewpoints on supremacy...  The offender had four Black accomplices to a pair of robberies in the Jacksonville area.  It would seem that this man could not even pull off a successful robbery.  The second attempted robbery was foiled by a LOCKED DOOR.
Lets be honest, and ask ourselves...  Was the offenders desire to attack the President based on extreme radical WN viewpoints, or was it because he has nothing but disdain and disrespect for the man which has still not proven his qualifications to be President.  More to come...
